Date: Sunday, October 7th
Time: Noon-3 PM
Location: West Temple Park, Temple, Texas
Join Water Is Basic and Foundation United Methodist of Temple as we come together for an afternoon of food, fun, and challenges as we raise money for clean water in South Sudan. Our team on the ground in South Sudan is ready to go out and repair all the broken water wells in South Sudan, and they need your help to make that possible.
During the 2 mile walk, you will have a chance to drink water that has been filtered from our Sawyer Water Filtration System, 'try' and balance a Jerry Can on your head (great photo op) and be part of a Carry The Jerry Relay Race Challenge. It's interactive, its fun, and you leave knowing that you are part of the solution. Together we can make a huge difference!
Be at the West Temple Park from Noon-3PM on Sunday, October 7th for CARRY THE JERRY WALK. We will have a pot-luck lunch, then you can register and check-in for the walk, bring your donations and get your Carry The Jerry Walk t-shirt on and get ready to have some fun and make a difference. We will be accepting cash, checks (make out to: WATER IS BASIC), and credit card donations before, during, and after the walk. 100% of your donations go directly to helping us bring clean water to thousands of men, women and children in South Sudan.
